YOUR ITINERARY
Hotel Galicja, Krakow-Wieliczka
Hotel Galicja is located in Wieliczka, a short drive
from central Kraków. With its warm welcome and
excellent facilities it makes a wonderful base for our
superb Polish exploration.
Hotel Features: All bedrooms have en-suite
facilities, tea and coffee facilities, satellite TV,
sauna, billiards, bar, air-conditioned restaurant
serving traditional Polish dishes, club room with a
TV, souvenir shop.
Day 1:
From your local joining point to Dover for an early
afternoon sailing to Calais – we then head to
Kassel region in Germany for an overnight stay
Day 2:
After breakfast we continue our journey to Poland
passing Leipzig and Dresden before reaching
Krakow where we check into our main hotel – our
base for four nights
Day 3:
Today we take a guided tour of the former capital
of Poland. Enjoy all the highlights of the old town
of Krakow, the Royal Route, the most beautiful
streets; the Slowacki Theatre; the famous market,
the Collegium Maius & Jewish Synagogue. In the
afternoon experience the UNESCO world cultural
heritage treasure: the famous Wieliczka salt mines.
Day 4:
We visit the Auschwitz Museum, site of the largest
Third Reich concentration camp.
Day 5:
A day at leisure to explore Krakow city centre
Day 6:
After breakfast we leave Krakow and head back
toward the Kassel Region for our overnight stay.
Day 7:
Today we return to Calais for the sailing back to the
UK – then onward to our local joining points.
