Renowned for its mild climate, the Isle of Wight is an ideal choice for this
early Spring holiday. Shanklin offers a wide range of attractions to suit all
ages and all weathers, from the brilliant beach to the historic Shanklin
Chine. We include a visit to the Ventnor Botanic Gardens where plants,
that would normally grow in greenhouses, thrive in the micro-climate of
Undercliff. Another must is a visit to pretty Godshill, with its picturepostcard cottages. The Pearl Centre, Alum Bay with its coloured sands and
Freshwater Bay with its stunning views of the Needles, are all visited
during our stay on the island.
Situated in the middle of the Irish Sea, and dating back to 650 BC, the Isle
of Man has some stunning scenery with a rugged coastline and towering
peaks. A full day9s tour of the North of the island includes a visit to Laxey
for a view of the iconic
