We visit the charming, working fishing
port of Padstow with its glorious
sandy beaches. Following on, we
spend time in Boscastle with a tiny
natural harbour, set in a narrow ravine
and boasting some very attractive
thatched and whitewashed cottages.
We take a journey on the River Fal
from Truro to Falmouth and spend the
afternoon exploring its rich maritime
heritage. No visit to Cornwall would
be complete without a visit to the
Eden Project with 20 acres of gardens
and 3000 varieties of plants, as well
as its massive Biomes housing the
largest rainforest in captivity and a
huge indoor garden with a
Mediterranean climate.

A picturesque and contemporary hotel overlooking
the world-famous Fistral Beach in Newquay. The
hotel offers stunning views from inside and out,
especially from the lounge and restaurant. There is
an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. There are no ground floor rooms but
there is a lift to all floors although some steps are unavoidable. The
bedrooms mostly have bath and shower, tea/coffee facilities, TV and double
glazing. There are sea-view rooms available (supplement payable) and some
of those at the rear have a balcony overlooking the garden area.
