We visit the charming Lost Gardens of Heligan, amazingly discovered in
1991 under a blanket of brambles after 70 years of neglect. Many of the
original plants have been rescued. Following on we spend time in the
delightful village of Mevagissey, one of Cornwall9s most picturesque
fishing villages and Fowey, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We
take a journey on Plymouth Hoe and include a delightful boat trip with
commentary detailing the history and heritage of the stunning Plymouth
coastline. No visit to Cornwall would be complete without a visit to the
Eden Project with 20 acres of gardens and 3000 varieties of plants, as well
as its massive Biomes housing the largest rainforest in captivity, and a
huge indoor garden with a Mediterranean climate.
