some free time in Liverpool enjoying, its world class sporting offerings
unrivalled musical heritage, historic waterfront and famous landmark
buildings. We take a cruise on the river Mersey, one of the best ways to
view the developing Liverpool skyline and the Albert dock. Finally, we
take a trip along the Sefton Coast stopping off to view Antony Gormley9s
Another Place before spending the afternoon in Southport.
Back by popular demand from last year is the Turkey and Tinsel at Grangeover-Sands looking out over Morecambe Bay. Celebrate Christmas Eve,
Christmas Day and New Year9s Eve all in the space of 3 days. Enjoy a Jumbo
Christmas Quiz, tuck in to a "Traditional Christmas Lunch" with all the
trimmings and a New Year Carvery. Each evening there will be live
entertainment. By day, you can enjoy a trip to Bowness for a cruise on
Windermere, pay a visit to nearby Lancaster and Kendal and spend a day
exploring the area around Grange-over-Sands.
