From our base in central Worcester, we
take the Gloucestershire Warwickshire
Steam Railway train to the nearby
town of Broadway, nestled in the
Cotswolds. Then we'll visit the
magnificent ruins of Witley Court,
once one of Victorian England's great
country houses, which drew
fashionable society when it hosted
lavish parties and royal
entertainment. A visit to nearby
Weston's Cider, where we will take a
tour followed by a tasting, as well as
the market towns of Ledbury and
Stratford-upon-Avon, which are
famous for being the birthplace of
William Shakespeare.

Charming Cambridgeshire
The day starts with a journey to
Newmarket, the home of horse racing.
We're here to visit the National
Horseracing Centre. Later, we go to
Ely, a historic city with a stunning
collection of mediaeval structures.
We travel to Cambridge and board our
chauffeured punt around the
backwaters of Cambridge. Our guide
will not only gently drive the punt
down the River Cam but will also
show us the highlights of Cambridge's
College structures. Strawberries and
cream will be offered as you glide
along the river, adding to the classic
English experience. We go south to the
Roman city of St Albans.
